 De name of Big Ray De African King i was born HASHIRU RAHMAN i am from FREETOWN,SIERRA LEONE WEST AFRICA .I am a singer and songwriter/model i have been singing since childhood days i am a muslim by religion,sierra leonean by nationality and wollorf by tribe.

I came 2 de usa in 1996 now reside in alexandria va been in de show business is fun and i want 2 take de time 2 thank all of my fans 4 been supportive and also my families even they do not approve 100% of what i do but they r still there 4 me.I first started singing in islamic occations,funerals,etc,etc,so as u can see i have been singing all my life.I have accomplish so much,been to school,college,trade school done it all still trying 2 continue allthough i am still struggling but i have faith and believe in God that 1 day my star will shine brighter than de way is now.
I was solo at first then became de member of de catthouse group i sang 4 them 4 a long time then went solo again ever since i went solo is been so many good things that have happen 2 me i get to travell more than i used 2 my fan base got larger i am de SLMTV BEST MALE R&B WINNER i have artist of de month.
I release my first cd in september of 08 didnt do that much well but now am working on a new project which is a new cd then i have my new record label that trying 2 put out there which is call BIG RAY UNIT since they call me de african king i am looking 4 sponsorers,artists,dancers,a manager 2 joing my team.I am de de master mind singing srictly 4 de ladies with de sound of r&b,dancehall,zouk and also in krio.
