On the contrary to medial experts' statement that HIV/AIDS has no cure, a middle-aged woman, Mother Juah N. Blamo who walked into the offices of the INQUIRER on Monday says she has the cure for HIV/AIDS.

To prove her claim that she has the cure for the deadly disease, the praying mother who was accompanied by one of her beneficiaries (name withheld), stated that since she started her ministry, she has cured at least twelve persons who were diagnosed of the disease by renowned medical centers.

The middle-aged woman who is also a mother of three and three grandchildren told the INQUIRER that apart from HIV/AIDS, God has revealed the cure for other diseases, including diabetes amongst others. “I want the whole world to be free. That is my desire and I will not charge any money because God has called on me to do so,” she said in a zealous mood.

According to Mother Blamo, since she started curing people of the disease, she reported the case to the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare to assist in curing some of those patients who are diagnosed of the disease but her pleas have fallen on deaf ears. In a communication Mother Blamo submitted to the Ministry dated October 28, 2008, she stated that “based upon the theory given to me by the Almighty God to save the whole world from the deadly disease called HIV/AIDS from perishing, I want to announce to the Ministry of Health that I, J. Nyoungbabae Blamo personally have the cure for the disease.” According to the communication that was addressed to Dr. Bernice T. Dahn, Deputy Minister for health services and Chief Medical Officer, a copy that is in the possession of this paper, Mother Blamo said, “I am urging this Ministry which is responsible for both Curative and Preventive health patients for a clinical trial using herbs which are in my possession. I would be very much pleased were you to call on me for an early interview at your convenience,” she indicated.

Mother Blamo's pleas made were rejected by the Ministry of Health on grounds that there was no scientific means for testing the herbs at the time. The Ministry's reply dated October 29, 2008 under the signature of Dr. Bernice Dahn said, “I am pleased to present my compliments and to acknowledge receipt of your communication dated October 28, 2008 informing the Ministry of the cure you have found for HIV/AIDS”. The Chief Medical Officer stated in her reply that “please be informed that the clinical trial you are requesting using herbs is not possible now because there is no scientific means for testing the herbs at this time. Thanks for your understanding,” she concluded.

In spite of the communication Mother Blamo stated that “what is not true I will not say it. I know that God has called me to save lives and I don't want money from anyone. All I need is once you have the sickness contact me and God will do the rest,” she said with assurance. The INQUIRER contacted some of the beneficiaries who claimed they were diagnosed and later cured by Mother Blamo. Meanwhile, Mother Blamo is pleading that anyone diagnosed of the deadly disease should contact her on Cell# 05-432-808.
